A Trustee Will Review Your Application
A trustee of The Hodge Foundation will personally review your application. If we need clarification or additional information, we may contact you to ensure we fully understand your situation.
We Aim to Respond Quickly
We know many applications are time‑sensitive.
We aim to respond as soon as possible, and usually within 2 working days.
You Will Receive an Outcome Either Way
Possible outcomes include:
Approved
Your loan is approved as requested.
Approved With Conditions
Approved, but with adjustments — for example, a different repayment amount or a modified loan total.
Pre‑Approved
We agree in principle, but certain details still need to be confirmed.
Examples include:
• Bond costs when you are still searching for a rental
• Purchasing a vehicle when you haven’t yet found the right one
• Situations where timing or documentation is still in progress
Unsuccessful
We’re unable to approve the loan.
If this happens, we will explain why and, where possible, suggest alternative pathways or support.

You will receive a full Approval Pack, which includes:
• Approval confirmation
• Your loan agreement
• Your repayment schedule
• A direct debit authorisation form
You’ll have time to read everything carefully.
Once the agreement is signed and sent back, we can arrange payment.

It is our strong preference that payments are made directly to the supplier or service provider (e.g., mechanic, school, landlord, dentist).
This ensures the loan is used exactly as intended and helps protect both you and the foundation.
